Welcome! By using this website (the “Site”), operated by William Roseberry and their affiliates (“we,” “us,”, “our,” or “the Author”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These govern your use of the Site as a free or paid member or ananymous user. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Membership and Access

The Site offers both free and paid memberships, each with different levels of access to content and features. By creating an account, you agree to use the Site only for personal, non-commercial enjoyment and to follow the rules outlined in these Terms.

Anonymous Users

You may browse certain parts of the Site without creating an account, (an “Anonymous User”). As an anonymous user, you can:

• Read publicly available chapters, blogs, and other content
• View basic information about the author, works, and membership options
• Customize your reading experience, including adjustable text size, font style, and layout preferences

However, anonymous users cannot access member-only content, leave comments, bookmark progress, or participate in community features. Creating a free or paid account is required to unlock these additional features. We may use cookies to improve your experience, but no personal data is collected unless you choose to register.

Free Members

Some users may choose to create an account without an active subscription, (a “Free Member”) and generally has access to features such as:

• Everything provided to Anonymous Users
• Free Member Only available chapters of the ongoing serial web novel
• Optional comment participation on chapters, blogs, and other content
• A Private Discord server community (you must connect your member account to your discord account)

Paid Members

Some users may choose to create and account with an active subscription or upgrade their Free Member account by adding a subscription, (a “Paid Member”). Paid members unlock additional benefits depending on their membership tier. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Everything provided to Free Members
• Early access to content before public or Free Member release
• Access to exclusive bonus stories, side content, or lore expansions
• Invitations to live Q&A sessions or livestreams

Features and benefits may vary by tier and are subject to change. We aim to provide accurate descriptions of tier benefits at the time of sign-up and will communicate major changes in advance whenever possible. Account Requirements

To maintain access to your content and settings:

• You must keep your login credentials secure and not share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must be 13 years or older to use the Site; users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, where applicable by local laws

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access if you abuse account sharing, violate community guidelines, or attempt to misuse the platform or content.

2. Content and Usage Rights

All original content available on this Site—including but not limited to stories, chapters, short fiction, characters, worldbuilding elements, web apps, illustrations, design elements, commentary, and code used to deliver features—is the intellectual property of the Author unless otherwise credited. This content is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

Personal Use Only

As a user, you are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the content you have unlocked. This means, by using this Site, you acknowledge that:

• You may read, comment, and participate in polls and discussions, or use any available features for their intended purposes
• You may share links to the website and content for promotional or word-of-mouth purposes
• You may not download, reproduce, repost, rehost, or redistribute content without written permission
• You may not screenshot or screen record paid or exclusive content for distribution
• You may not claim ownership of, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the content for public release
• You may not use any part of the Site’s content to train AI models, scrape for data, or use in machine learning applications without express permission
• You may not use any part of the Site’s content for any kind of commercial purpose without the express written permission

Web Apps and Tools

Custom writing tools and checklists provided on the Site are made available for personal and educational use only unless otherwise stated under that tools specific terms of service and usage guidelines. You may use them to support your own writing projects, but they remain the intellectual property of the Author and may not be repackaged, resold, or embedded elsewhere.

Fan Creations

Fan art, fan fiction, and other creative works inspired by the stories on this Site are welcome and encouraged, so long as they are clearly marked as unofficial and non-commercial. You may not use characters or story content in commercial works or products without prior written agreement.

If you create fan content, we would love to see it! You can share it on the Discord server or through social media (tagging the author is appreciated).

Violation of Usage Rights

Any misuse of content—such as unauthorized sharing, scraping, or rehosting—may result in the immediate suspension of your account and/or legal action. We take the protection of creative work seriously so we can continue producing stories and tools for readers like you.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features and content on the Site are available only through a paid membership subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the terms outlined below and in the following sub-sections regarding billing, access, and account management.

Additionally, prior to becoming a paid member, you understand and acknownledge that while paid members receive extra features, additional content, and other perks, your subscription is a form of support, sponsorship, or donation to the Author.

By becoming a paid member, you are helping to fund the time, energy, and resources it takes to produce ongoing stories, maintain the site, and develop tools for readers and writers. The benefits and features offered are a thank-you for that support, but the core purpose of your payment is to help sustain and grow the creative work behind this platform.

Some benefits—such as additional advanced chapters—are not guaranteed, and while the Author will make every reasonable effort to provide the additional content according to the listed schedules, the addtional content may be delayed or reduced with notice.

Billing and Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed through a third-party payment provider such as Lemon Squeezy, Stripe, or PayPal (subject to change). We do not store your full payment details on our servers and are fully PCI compliant.

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select), and will auto-renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

The price of your subscription and the benefits offered are clearly listed on the membership sign-up page. We may adjust pricing or available features at any time, with reasonable notice.

Taxes and VAT may apply where applicable, based on the local laws of the cardholder and/or us. Changes to tax and VAT amounts upon renewals may apply without notice, but we will ensure any changes are communicated through billing statements.

Subscription Tiers

We offer multiple subscription tiers, each with different levels of access and perks. These may include. Details of any tier can be seen on the Membership Page.

Please review the details of your selected tier carefully before subscribing. We reserve the right to change pricing, add or remove tiers, or adjust benefits with reasonable notice.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or through the billing provider’s portal.

After cancellation, you will retain access to your benefits until the end of the current billing period. No additional charges will be made.

You may re-subscribe at any time. However, we cannot guarantee the same pricing or benefits if plans have changed.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law, in cases of verified billing errors, or as otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or did not receive access to the appropriate tier, please contact us promptly so we can resolve the issue.

Failed Payments & Account Access

If a recurring payment fails (due to expired cards, insufficient funds, etc.), you will receive a notification and may lose access to member-only content until payment is resolved.

We reserve the right to revoke or suspend your subscription benefits if your account is found to be in violation of these Terms, including but not limited to misuse of content or abusive behavior in the community.

Gift Subscriptions & Promotions

From time to time, we may offer discounts, gift subscriptions, or promotional content. These offers are subject to specific terms and may not be retroactively applied to existing subscriptions unless otherwise stated or approved by us.

4. Community Conduct

This Site includes interactive community features such as comment sections, member polls, Q&A events, and access to a private Discord server for eligible members. These spaces are designed to foster discussion, feedback, and connection between the Author and readers. To keep the community healthy and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that all users—whether anonymous, free, or paid—follow a few simple rules.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, warnings, restrictions, or termination of your account.

Be Respectful

• Treat other members, the Author, and moderators with courtesy and respect.
• Healthy debate is encouraged, but personal attacks, insults, harassment, or inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated.
• Avoid spam, trolling, or intentionally disruptive comments.

Stay On Topic

• Use the comment sections and polls for discussion related to the story, characters, themes, writing process, or platform features.
• For broader conversations, fan content, or off-topic chatter, we encourage the use of designated spaces within the Discord server (where applicable).

Keep It Safe for the Community

• Do not post content that is abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, excessively violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Avoid sharing illegal content, pirated material, or links to malicious or harmful sites.

Respect Privacy

• Do not share personal information—yours or anyone else’s—on public comment threads or community areas.
• Respect boundaries and consent when interacting with others on or off the Site.

Author and Moderator Rights

• The Author and any designated moderators reserve the right to remove comments, disable participation, or ban users who violate these guidelines, with or without warning.
• In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account and revoke membership access without refund.

Report Issues

If you encounter problematic behavior or feel uncomfortable with another user’s actions, please report it directly to the Author or moderators using the contact form or Discord mod request channel.

5. Technical Features

This Site offers a variety of technical tools and interactive features designed to enhance your reading and membership experience. While we aim to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience across all supported devices, please note the following:

Reading Interface Customization

Users can personalize their reading experience through settings such as:

• Adjustable font size and style
• Customizable text layout and line spacing
• Light and dark mode options (when available)
• Bookmarking chapter progress for easy return

These features are offered to improve accessibility and comfort while reading. Settings are stored in your user profile and/or browser, but may be reset or cleared due to updates, cookie settings, or browser behavior.

Web-Based Writer Tools and Apps

The Site may offer custom tools, checklists, and utilities aimed at supporting writers and worldbuilders. These may include:

• Worldbuilding forms or templates
• Plot and character checklists
• Name or concept generators
• Planning and writing trackers

These tools are made available to Anonymous Users, Free Members, and/or Paid Members for personal use, unless otherwise stated, and are provided “as is” without guarantees of feature completeness or long-term support. They may be updated or removed at any time. Each tool and app may be additionally governed by its own terms of service which can be found on their respective pages or below:

Chapter Delivery and Access

Chapters are released on a regular schedule, with early access for members. While we do our best to deliver content on time, delays may occasionally occur due to illness, personal scheduling, or technical issues. In such cases, updates or notices will be posted, when reasonable, on the Site or via member email.

Chapter visibility and access are managed by membership tier. If you experience difficulty accessing content you believe you are entitled to, please contact support to resolve the issue.

Platform Stability and Updates

We aim for high uptime and performance, but like any digital platform, occasional interruptions may occur due to:

• Server maintenance or upgrades
• Software bugs or feature rollouts
• Third-party service outages (e.g., payment processors, image hosting)

We appreciate your patience during any unexpected downtime and strive to address issues quickly. Feature feedback is always welcome—this platform is an evolving project built with readers and writers in mind.

Browser Compatibility

The Site is optimized for modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). While it may function on other platforms or older versions, we do not guarantee full feature compatibility on unsupported browsers or devices.

6. Termination and Account Removal

You may cancel or delete your account at any time, and we reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when necessary to protect the integrity of the Site and its community.

Voluntary Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

Once deleted, your account data—including bookmarks, preferences, comment history, and access to paid content—will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.

If you are an active paid subscriber, deletion of your account will immediately end your access to paid benefits. Any unused portion of your subscription will not be refunded unless required by law.

Cancellation of Paid Membership

Canceling your paid membership does not automatically delete your account.

After cancellation, you will retain access to paid content until the end of your current billing cycle. Your account will then revert to a free member status unless deleted.

Site-Initiated Restriction, Suspension, or Termination

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if:

• You violate these Terms of Service, especially Sections 2 (Content and Usage Rights) or 4 (Community Conduct)
• You engage in fraudulent activity, harassment, or abuse of the platform
• Your account is involved in scraping, redistribution, or unauthorized sharing of content
• You use the site for illegal or harmful purposes

In the case of serious violations, access to all content and community features may be revoked immediately. We also reserve the right to block future registrations from repeat offenders.

Inactive or Abandoned Accounts

We may periodically remove or deactivate inactive accounts (e.g., those with no login activity for a prolonged period) to maintain site performance and data hygiene. You will be notified by email prior to any deactivation if applicable.

Data Retention

We do not retain personal data or content linked to deleted accounts beyond what is required for legal or operational purposes. Comments or feedback associated with your account may remain publicly visible unless you request it to be anonymized prior to account deletion. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will provide notice on the Site or via email. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
